The size-seven mouthpiece has a tip opening of 0.081" - a medium-sized opening which balances expressive capabilities with accurate intonation and upper register access. The 24k gold-plated construction gives the mouthpiece rich and vibrant overtones whilst the unique chamber shape provides a strong core to the sound. This mouthpiece comes included with a Theo Wanne Liberty Ligature mouthpiece cap and a protective mouthpiece pouch.

Theo soon gained a reputation within the saxophone world and in 1998 opened Saxophone Mouthpiece Heaven - his own online music store and knowledge database.
In 2007 Theo started to design and manufacture his own line of mouthpieces en masse working with famous musicians such as Joshua Redman Chris Potter and Eric Alexander. Theo is constantly studying and innovating his designs ensuring his mouthpieces allow musicians to create their best tone - as easily as possible. Theo Wanne now has a reputation for crafting some of the best saxophone and clarinet mouthpieces using the worlds most advanced manufacturing techniques. Attaching via the mounting holes the ligatures only points of contact with the mouthpiece are on two very small points - giving the mouthpiece and reed freedom to vibrate undampened. Dial in your sound! Mount the ligature further up the mouthpiece for a tighter more controlled sound; or further down the mouthpiece for a reedier spread tone.
Also included is a Reed Replacer Cap - an incredibly secure mouthpiece cap which offers unmatched protection to the tip of your mouthpiece. The Earth 2 also comes with a mouthpiece pouch to protect from scratches and other cosmetic damage when not in use.
